Asumah Abubakar scores as Brisbane Roar sinks Perth Glory

(Photo by Janelle St Pierre/Getty Images)[/caption]Brisbane Roar FC claimed a commanding 3-1 victory over Perth Glory in their A-League Round 23 clash at HBF Park, with Portuguese-Ghanaian winger Asumah Abubakar playing a key role in the win.Perth Glory started brightly, taking the lead in the 7th minute through Luke Amos, who unleashed a stunning strike from distance. However, Brisbane Roar responded in the 37th minute when Abubakar pounced on a loose ball inside the box, calmly slotting home to restore parity.The visitors took control early in the second half, as Abubakar turned provider, heading a corner into the path of Samuel Klein, who converted from close range in the 51st minute. Klein sealed the win in the 89th minute, finishing off a well-worked move with a clinical strike.Abubakar, who lasted 73 minutes, now has one goal and one assist in four A-League appearances this season. Brisbane Roar will look to build on this momentum when they face Auckland FC on March 30th.
