Assistant coach of the Black Stars, Desmond Ofei has indicated that Ghana will approach the encounter against Chad in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as if its a final.Speaking to the media team of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), coach Ofei noted that this is important because the Black Stars must deliver a good performance to win and make Ghanaians happy.We have to look at ourselves first because we have enough quality in the squad to make sure that we perform on the day. We also want to make the Ghanaian fans very proud of us, so its important to give a really good performance against Chad at home.We have to fight, and its going to be a final for us. Its very important for us to ensure this window is wrapped up positively and make sure that the Ghanaian fans are very happy with us, coach Desmond Ofei said.The Black Stars of Ghana will host Chad on March 21 at the Accra Sports Stadium in Round 5 of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.A win for Ghana could propel the Black Stars to the summit of Group I, increasing the national teams chances of booking a spot at next years mundial.
