Ghanaian teenager Michael Adu-Poku joins Rochdale on loan from Watford
Ghanaian teenager Michael Adu-Poku has secured a loan move to English National League side Rochdale.He has joined the club from English Championship outfit Watford. Adu-Poku according to the loan agreement will stay at Rochdale until May 5.Nineteen-year-old forward Michael Adu-Poku has agreed to join Rochdale on loan until May 5.The youngster will make a second loan of the season to a National League club after racking up 13 appearances for Solihull Moors between October and December, scoring once, an official club statement from the Watford Academy said on Tuesday, March 11.Michael Adu-Poku was initially expected to spend the entire 2024/25 football season on loan at Solihull Moors.However, due to an injury he sustained on Boxing Day in the game against Boston United, he returned to Watford for medical care.Now back to full fitness, he has signed for Rochdale where he will be hoping to get back on track to continue with his development.The teenager has shown impressive talent at Watford and could earn a place in the first team next season.
