Swedish club Degerfors IF secure services of Ghanaian teenager Ziyad Salifu

Ghanaian teenager Ziyad Salifu has officially joined Swedish Allsvenskan side Degerfors IF on a three-year contract. The club confirmed the signing of the 18-year-old on Thursday, February 13, 2025.Salifu, who was born on June 20, 2006, is a winger with Ghanaian citizenship. Before joining Degerfors, Salifu played for Diamond Seed Sporting Club based in Accra, Ghana.Prior to the confirmation of his signing, Salifu was on trial with Norrkoping, another Allsvenskan side. Degerfors secured Salifu with a contract that extends to the end of 2028.Salifu expressed his satisfaction with the move, stating, It feels very good to be here.I'm quite fast and have good technique.
