CAF holds draw for inaugural Women's Futsal AFCON in Morocco

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has conducted the draw for the group stages of the first-ever CAF Womens Futsal Africa Cup of Nations.The event took place on Thursday at CAF headquarters in Cairo, setting the stage for the tournament scheduled from April 22 to 30 in Morocco.This historic edition marks a significant step in the growth of womens futsal on the continent. Nine teams will compete for the maiden title, with the draw producing exciting matchups between nations eager to make their mark.Host nation Morocco finds itself in Group A alongside Cameroon and Namibia.
