Commodore acknowledged that, ideally, the GFA should fund the national teams, as is common in other countries. However, he pointed out that the GFA lacks the financial resources that other associations possess.Black Stars is not for the government if you look at football federations national teams are the association's team A or team B. Black Galaxies is team B, Black Queens is team A of the women Black Stars is team A the Association team. Germany their team government doesn't fund it England too government doesn't fund France too. So ours we can't fund any national team GFA can't fund it, he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com.Commodore emphasized that while the GFA should ideally support the national teams, the current financial constraints make it challenging. He highlighted that in countries like Germany, England, and France, football associations fund their national teams without government assistance. Given the GFA's limited resources, he suggested that expecting the association to fully fund all national teams is unrealistic.
