Yussif Chibsah blames Kurt Okraku's struggles as GFA boss to poor appointments
Former Ghana midfielder, Yussif Chibsah believes Kurt Okraku's struggles as Ghana Football Association president can be blamed to his appointments for certain roles.According to Chibsah, Okraku needs to surround himself with people who can help him, stating his profile makes him capable to running the country's football to success.Speaking on Sporty FM, Chibsah said: On different scales, let say when you take our youth teams we have not qualified for major tournaments but recently we won the African Games, the Black Stars we could not qualify for AFCON, on that note you can say we have not performed well.Chibsah highlighted the areas he believes the FA president has excelled, praising his Catch Them Young policy and the revival of women's football.One initiative that he brought that I like so much is the Catch Them Young initiative, which is a fantastic idea and another one is women's football. I mean, he has done tremendously well when it comes to women's football, he continued.The former Kotoko and King Faisal player also disclosed where he thinks the FA president has failed, claiming his appointments have let him down.Kurt is the head but he cannot do it alone. He needs to surround himself with people who can really help him and for me that is one area I think Kurt has failed. His appointments, I don't think he has done well with that.
