'Kurt Okraku unwell and out of the country' - Nana Oduro Sarfo on GFA president's silence on Kotoko fan's death

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member Nana Sarfo Oduro has revealed that FA President Kurt Okrakus absence and silence following the tragic death of Asante Kotoko fan Francis Nana Pooley Frimpong are due to illness.

Okraku, who is currently abroad receiving medical treatment, has faced criticism for not addressing the incident publicly.

During a meeting between the GFA delegation and Asante Kotokos leadership, Sarfo Oduro explained to the club that the head of the country's football governing body has not addressed the issue due to his health condition.

Since the incident occurred, he has not spoken publicly. The reason is that Kurt is not feeling well and is currently not in the country. If he was well, he would have been the first to visit Kotokos camp.
