Francis Amuzu to earn $2 million a season at Gremio
Grmio have confirmed the signing of Belgian-Ghanaian forward Francis Amuzu from Anderlecht, with the player set to earn an annual salary of $2 million.The deal will see the 25-year-old join the Brazilian Serie A club on a two-year contract running until December 2026.With the European transfer windows closed and no official offers materializing, Grmio secured Amuzu after interest from clubs such as Napoli failed to materialize.The transfer fee is considered manageable, given Grmios current financial situation.Known for his versatility, speed, and attacking prowess, Amuzu is expected to strengthen Grmios frontline.His signing has been met with optimism as the club aims to bolster its squad for both domestic and international competitions.During his time at Anderlecht, Amuzu made 250 appearances, scoring 28 goals and providing 24 assists, establishing himself as a consistent attacking threat.He also represented Belgium at youth levels, featuring in the 2019 UEFA U-21 European Championship, where he scored once.
