Brazilian Serie A club Grmio have completed the acquisition of forward Francis Amuzu, securing the Ghanaian-born Belgian on a permanent transfer from Anderlecht.The deal binds Amuzu to the Porto Alegre-based side until December 2026 after he successfully completed medical assessments.Amuzu, a product of Anderlechts youth system, spent his entire professional career with the Belgian Pro League giants, amassing 250 appearances since his senior debut.During his tenure, he netted 28 goals and contributed 24 assists, establishing himself as a consistent attacking threat.The winger also represented Belgium at youth levels, featuring in the 2019 UEFA U-21 European Championship and scoring once during the tournament.Renowned for his pace, adaptability across forward positions, and physicality, Amuzu is poised to bolster Grmios offensive options as the club aims to climb the domestic league standings.Grmio plan to unveil Amuzu formally in the coming days, with details of his introductory press conference to be announced shortly.The signing marks Grmios latest effort to strengthen its squad amid a competitive South American transfer window.
