Turkish side Göztepe keep tabs on Ghanaian-born Eintracht Frankfurt winger Ansgar Knauff

Turkish outfit Gztepe are reportedly keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt winger Ansgar Knauff.The 23-year-old has been on the radar of the Turkish Super Lig side, who are interested in the former German U21 star.Gztepe are long-term admirers of the German-born international and have signaled their intention to prize him away to the Grsel Aksel Stadium.With the winter transfer window set to shut in the next 24 hours, Gztepe remain confident of landing their target.Turkish Newspaper Yeni Asr has reported that the deal for the former Borussia Dortmund widesman is being sorted out byLondon-based sports investment firm SPORT REPUBLIC - a majority shareholder of both Southampton and Gztepe FC.Ansgar Knauff has scored three goals and provided five assists in 31 games across all competitions for his side in the current campaign.He is still eligible to represent Ghana despite featuring for German youth teams including U19, 20 and 21.
