Coach Charles Sampson sets tactical and structural goals for Black Princesses
Black Princesses head coach Charles Sampson has outlined a detailed roadmap for the teams preparation ahead of the FIFA U-20 Womens World Cup qualifiers in September, with a focus on tactics, structure, and competitive match readiness.The coach revealed that he has submitted a comprehensive plan to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for approval, which includes friendly matches and training camps to fine-tune the squad.I have drawn a plan for the year and submitted it to the GFA, Sampson said. We are waiting for approval, but the plan is to meet very soon and play some games to assess the team.Ghana will begin its qualification campaign in September against either Tunisia or Togo, and Sampson is closely monitoring their upcoming matches to prepare adequately.We will keep an eye on those games to study our potential opponents and prepare ahead, he added.Beyond qualification, Sampsons broader goal is to establish a team structure that ensures Ghana remains competitive in womens football.Its about how we put things together and maintain consistency, he noted. We have a strong youth system, and if we maximize it properly, Ghana can be a dominant force in womens football.
