Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi donates to Sung Shining Ladies FC
Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi has donated sports equipment to women's team Sung Shining Ladies FC.The Ghanaian shot-stopper based in Switzerland presented the club with 16 tracksuits, 15 inner tubes, three footballs, 16 water bottles, and two football pumps.The benevolent gesture is goalkeeper's way of giving back to the society as he supports the development of women's football in the country.Ati-Zigi is known not just for his exploits between the sticks but also his support to the less privileged in society.The FA Saint Gallen goalkeeper has had a decent campaign with the club in the Swiss league this season, playing a pivotal role in the European adventure.He has also been a regular for the Black Stars and will be expected to rejoin the team in March for the resumption of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.The 28-year-old started his career in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg before joining Sochaux in France and subsequently Saint Gallen.
