VFL Osnabruck managing director delighted with capture of experienced Braydon Manu
Dr Michael Welling, the Managing Director of VFL Osnabruch has expressed satisfaction in the transfer deadline day capture Ghanaian winger Braydon Manu.Manu joins the Bundesliga 3 outfit on loan from Dutch club PEC Zwolle till the end of the season.The German-born Ghanaian has spent most of his career in the German lower divisions, playing a pivotal role when Darmstadt secured promotion to the topflight two season ago.His experience will be pivotal as Osnabruch fight for survival in the third tier of German football.After Braydon Manu, we started looking at possible winter transfers quite early on. We are very happy that we were able to take action again shortly before the transfer window closed. The internal group is in agreement on the sporting assessment: Braydon has proven his qualities in attack both in the 3rd division and in the 2nd Bundesliga, he said.He knows our current game system very well from his time in Darmstadt and can be used in a variety of ways, which expands our options in attack.As a team, we made a total of 14 transfers in the winter, with seven departures and seven arrivals. We are convinced that we have been able to increase the quality and performance density and that we will be able to stay in the league under the direction of the coaching team led by Marco Antwerpen.
