2024/25 Ghana Premier League: Week 19 Match Report- Vision FC 2-1 Accra Lions

Opoku Agyemang scored a last-gasp penalty as Vision FC came from behind to defeat Accra Lions 2-1 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park.Accra Lions took an early lead through Yao Sokpoli but Emmanuel Akansase levelled in the second half before the late winner.The visitors started the game the better of the two sides, breaking the deadlock with an exquisite finish from Sokpoli.Moments later, Remember Boateng was denied by the crossbar after a ferocious strike from the Accra Lions defender.Lions dominated the half and went into the break with the slim lead.Accra Lions were pinned back early in the second half, with waves of early attack from the host but goalkeeper Daniel Afful was equal to the task.With twenty minutes remaining Akansase rose high to head home and level for the hosts following a fine cross.In injury time, the hosts were awarded a penalty, which was converted by Opoku Agyemang to hand Vision FC victory.  Read Full Story
