Ibrahim Tanko outlines core values as Medeama head coach
New Medeama head coach Ibrahim Tanko has outlined the principles he hopes to instil in his players, emphasising unity, discipline, and hard work.Tanko, a former Ghana international, was appointed to replace Nebojsa Kapor after spending three years with Accra Lions.Addressing the media for the first time since taking charge, he clarified that his departure from Lions was amicable and stressed the importance of discipline in achieving success.You need discipline in the group to achieve what you want. You have to be disciplined, you have to work hard. I told them (the players), you are playing in one of the best clubs in Ghana, and definitely, you have to give your best, and that is what we are going to do, he stated.Medeama will face Legon Cities on Sunday, February 2, at 15:00 GMT, hoping to end a four-game winless run.
