New Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko anticipating a tough clash against Legon Cities on Sunday
The new head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko is expecting a tough first match against Legon Cities Football Club. Having been appointed head coach of the Tarkwa-based club on Wednesday, January 29, the former Ghana U23 coach has just three days to prepare his side for the upcoming game in the Ghana Premier League.Speaking in a pre-match interview, Coach Ibrahim Tanko noted that while the game against Legon Cities FC will be difficult, his team will prepare well to ensure fans enjoy victory at the end of the game.Every football game is difficult. Now Im here and Im the coach. Legon Cities are coming with two wins and we are coming with two losses so definitely the players need motivation and as a coach, Im the one to do that. We have training today, tomorrow, and the last training on Saturday. We are going to work hard to put smiles on the faces of the supporters, coach Ibrahim Tanko shared.The clash between Medeama SC and Legon Cities is scheduled for 3 pm at TnA Park on Sunday, February 2.
