Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant says he is working to turn the fortunes of the club following their defeat against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
The Phobians started the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League on a stuttering note after losing 1-0 to Berekum Chelsea in the opening fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
A section of their fans have called on management to wield the axe on coach Grant in the wake of the painful defeat.
But the former Ghana striker has urged their fans to exercise patience with the team as he is working around the clock to return them to the echelons of Ghana football.
“I’m going to take each game as it comes, he said, adding that he is here to work and be successful at a club like Hearts of Oak.
“I’m working very hard and the boys are also working hard, nobody wants to lose a football match but unfortunately we lose today but I believed we created some decent chances we should have put away.”
Hearts of Oak will play as guests to Medeama SC in Week Two of the league on Sunday.
