Liberty Professionals produced a stirring late comeback to draw 2-2 with nouveau-riche Legon Cities FC on Sunday in their Ghana Premier League opener.
The Scientific Soccer Lads found themselves trailing 2-0 at home after 70 minutes.
Legon Cities FC seems to have delivered on their boast by producing a gritty performance to earn a point.
They snatched the opener in the 14th minute when Emmanuel Isaaka's free kick was intercepted and the re-christened club launched a quick break.
Sule, who is left-footed, cut in from the right and dribbled past two Liberty Professionals before slotting it past goalkeeper Kofi Baah.
Jeffrey Degorl then doubled the lead on 70 minutes when he intercepted a clearance from goalkeeper Baah to slot home.
But Liberty never gave up and eight minutes later Elvis Kyei-Baffour reduced the deficit to restore hope.
With just a minute remaining in regulation time, wonder kid Michael Ampadu struck to level the scoring to spare their blushes.
