Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has expressed disappointment after Al Qadsia lost the first trophy of the season to Al Arabi in Kuwait.
The defender, who played the entire duration of the game saw his side suffer 6-7 on penalties to their opponents.
Sumaila converted from the spot but Al Qadsiya could not match their rivals from 12 yards.
"We were unlucky yesterday in our crown prince cup game we lost on penalties but that is football.. Insha Allah there is more to achieve the League and the Amir cup we keep going together and thanks to all the fans for their support,' he posted on Twitter after the game.
Al Qadsia are currently third on the Kuwaiti league table, just two points behind leaders Kuwaiti SC.
