Ghana’s Black Stars dominated Chad with a resounding 5-0 victory in their FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium, moving to the top of Group I with 12 points.
Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, setting the tone for a relentless Ghanaian attack. Iñaki Williams doubled the lead in the 31st minute before captain Jordan Ayew converted a penalty in the 36th. In the second half, Mohammed Salisu’s 56th-minute header and Ernest Nuamah’s 68th-minute strike sealed an emphatic win.
Coach Otto Addo entrusted goalkeeper Benjamin Asare with his debut, while Thomas Partey and Nuamah controlled the midfield. Ayew led the attack, supported by Mohammed Kudus, Semenyo, and Williams on the wings.
