The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has indicated that the NDC will secure over 150 parliamentary seats in the December 7 general election.
“It’s going to be an absolute majority. I believe we will have more than 150 Members of Parliament,” he stated.
According to him, it’s obvious that the NDC will win the December 7 general election.
“This election’s result is obvious because the other elections have not been obvious like this particular one, and so with this one, everybody can tell the direction it’s going because of the abysmal performance of the NPP,” Mr. Mahama intimated.
Addressing journalists after he voted at the Bole Municipal Assembly polling station in Bole, he attributed the massive support for the NDC in the December 7 general election to the incompetence of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.
“Our economy, the hardship Ghanaians are going through, increasing unemployment, and all the difficulties Ghanaians are going through, they want someone more experienced to come and take over and rescue this country,” he said.
He assured NDC supporters that the party has trained and deployed agents across the country to ensure that they win the elections, and urged voters at the various polling stations to vote massively for the NDC.
