Turkish Süper Lig side Antalyaspor have set their sets on signing Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan who will become a free agent when his current contract expires in July.
Gyan, 31, is on loan at UAE club Al Ahli Dubai from Chinese Super League campaigners Shanghai SIPG.
However, his lucrative £227,000-per-week (£11.8m annually) contract expires in July this year and a host of European clubs are on the hunt for the signature of a proven finisher.
According to Fanatik, Antalyaspor manager R?za Çal?mbay is keen to have him on their books as they look forward to an assault on European football next season.
Antalyaspor is placed sixth on the league table on 43 points - 10 behind third place Fernabache.
It is understood that Çal?mbay sees Gyan as an alternative to 11-goal top scorer and African football legend Samuel Eto'o.
Antalyaspor is hopeful that a bid in excess of 1 million euros will be enough to attract the former Sunderland man to the New Antalya Stadium.
Gyan joined the Chinese Super League in 2015 from United Arab Emirates side Al Ain in a massive deal that made him the sixth highest paid player in the world and the highest paid player from Africa.
However, he struggled with injuries, scoring only seven goals in 20 league games in two seasons, making only 20 appearances before he was loaned out.
