Two Ghanaian pilots who took part in this year's annual paragliding festival at Odweanoma Mountains in the Eastern region during the Easter festivity, put up a tremendous display to earn applause from both patrons and their colleagues.
The two, Jonathan Quaye and Michael Kwakye demonstrated solo skills on the ground before they took off, reports Graphic Online’s Dominic Moses Awiah.
Each of them spent about 45 minutes in the air before landing at Nkawkaw park.
Low patronage
The entire paragliding this year has been slow and this has been attributed to the weather conditions.
The foggy nature of the weather made it difficult for the early commencement of the event last Friday and on Saturday, a downpour also disrupted the event.
Some patrons told Graphic Online their decision not to fly was as a result of the weather condition.
