Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Inusah Musah, is set to be on the sidelines with a leg injury and will be a doubt for the Phobians when they travel to the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium to face Ashantigold in their week 11crunch fixture tomorrow.
Inusah has been a dependable centre-back for Hearts with series of impressive performances since breaking onto the scene last season and becoming the best defender of the top flight in the process.
The 24-year-old's injury will affect Hearts central defence options with skipper Robin Gnagne already out on the sidelines.
Hearts could be proud of Richard Akrofi's performance as he filled the void for Inusah and scored against Bechem United. Similarly, Vincent Atinga has put up an impressive display after coming on for Gnagne and scoring a controversial winner over arch rivals, Asante Kotoko two weeks ago.
In an interview with the Graphic Sports, Inusah said, I'm injured and don't think I can play in our clash against Ashantigold on Saturday.
He, however, refused to give a specific timeline over his injury lay off but was hopeful of returning to the Phobians fold as soon as possible.
Hearts produced a masterclass last Wednesday to silence Bechem United 4-2 at the Accra Stadium, with Thomas Abbey, Richard Akrofi, Fatawu Mohammed and Cosmos Dauda all scoring in the win.
The Phobians are yet to win a league match away from home this term and will have the chance to break that jinx when they travel to face Ashantigold tomorrow.
