Repu weekends are always fun as they are packed with parties and other activities that bring students from across the country together every year.
However, the definition and successes of REPU is based on one event dubbed Epilogo which started 13 years ago when students set their own rules to defy the party order.
Epilogo organised by EchoHouse is an epic night of great music inspired by Vodafone X, good company and free drinks from Guinness.
The event brought together over 6,000 students— a quarter of which filled Georgia Hostel, two-thirds in the car park and the rest, bringing the carnival feeling to life in the streets from GASA to Crystal Rose.
Not even the rains could deter patrons drawn from tertiary institutions in Sunyani, CapeCoast, Accra among others from having the time of their lives.
And of course with the likes of DJs Vyrusky, Shagy, Sheldon, Sleek and Krack in the house, the rains just could not hold back the party. The party was on high octane as each DJ took turns to drop song after song sending patrons into a frenzy.
The fun couldn’t be complete without a touch of greatness from the specially designed Guinness bottle and the assortment that kept the jam going till 7 am.
As the night grew old and the jam louder, there was the undeniable truth that for REPU to have a great start and continue with its domination year-in and year-out, Epilogo has to be at its best.
And last weekend is the biggest testament that for years to come, Epilogo will stay and grow bigger and bigger.
