
President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in Michael Harry Yamson as the Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).
The decision follows a unanimous recommendation by the Appointments Committee, which endorsed Yamson’s approval based on his demonstrated competence, extensive knowledge, and exceptional skills in addressing matters relevant to the role.
Michael Harry Yamson appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Thursday, March 20, 2025, to respond to questions from committee members.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, March 25.
The President expressed confidence in Yamson’s ability to enhance efficiency and transparency in the management of the DACF, which is crucial for funding local governance and development projects across Ghana
The President wished him the very best of his endeavour and tasked him to ensure that funds are released on time and in full.
