The new Board chair of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Alexander Afenyo-Markin has emphasised the need to address the challenges confronting the power distributor.
He made the comments after the outgoing Energy Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, formally inaugurated him as the new Board Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), following his appointment on Tuesday by President Akufo-Addo.
In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Board Chair of ECG, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, remarked that whilst the government has made significant improvements in electricity provision, there is still more to be accomplished.
He expressed his commitment to continuing the trajectory of thoughtful reform and innovation.
