The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Business and Financial Times (B&FT), Dr. Godwin Acquaye, has stated that his organisation’s intervention for winners of the Youth Economic Forum(YEF) Entrepreneurship Challenge 2026 is designed to deliver measurable business growth.
Speaking at the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and fund utilisation session in Accra, he noted that the initiative is focused on helping the 10 selected entrepreneurs achieve real results beyond visibility.
“The entrepreneurs should expect measurable improvements in their market visibility, customer experience and brand positioning,” he said.
“Beyond exposure, this MoU is designed to help them translate visibility into revenue growth by connecting them to the right audience, strengthening their brand credibility and positioning them competitively within their respective industries,” he added.
The event was aimed at formalising support given to 10 Winners of the YEF Entrepreneurship Challenge 2026 through an MoU-signing and guiding beneficiaries on effective use of the support allocated.

Dr. Acquaye noted that the support will be delivered through a structured approach, integrating advertising with strategic guidance to help all 10 businesses maximise the value of exposure provided.
“We are taking a structured approach by combining advertising with guidance on how to strategically use that visibility. This includes profiling their businesses in a way that attracts investors and customers, as well as tracking engagement and response to ensure the support delivers results,” he mentioned.
He added that his outfit will also monitor the businesses’ progress through periodic visits to ensure the support is being effectively utilised.
He further indicated that the initiative is aimed at addressing a key challenge within Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly the difficulty many start-ups face in gaining visibility and accessing markets.
“One of the biggest gaps we have identified is the disconnect between promising start-ups and visibility, credibility and market access they need to grow. Many entrepreneurs have viable products and services, but they struggle to reach the right audience, attract customers and position themselves competitively,” he pointed out.
Dr. Acquaye stressed: “Through this initiative, we are bridging that gap by providing structured media exposure and strategic support which helps these businesses move from potential to sustained growth.”
The support, he said, is expected to strengthen growth of each beneficiary’s business and contribute to broader economic development.
