A new book authored by Reverend Victor Kpakpo Addo Jnr, popularly known as Azigiza, titled The Christian Influencer, has been launched in Accra, offering what the author describes as a practical guide for shaping positive behaviour and strengthening moral influence in society.
Speaking at the launch held at the Citizen Fellowship Church, Reverend Azigiza said the book was written to address what he believes is a growing gap in how influence is understood and used, especially among the youth. He noted that while influence has become a dominant force in contemporary culture, many people remain unaware of the subtle ways it shapes choices, habits, and identities.
“Influence begins at home, often long before people understand its power, and behaviours children observe in their parents become foundational templates for life,” he told the B&FT, adding that, this reality inspired him to write a book that helps individuals recognise the influence they carry and use it responsibly from a Christian perspective.

According to him, influence is a God-given birthright, but many misuse it because they imitate others without understanding their own identity. He said the book aims to teach readers how to become intentional moral and spiritual influences by embracing discipline, authenticity, and values rooted in Scripture.

Furthermore, he noted that The Christian Influencer outlines moral, spiritual, and social forms of influence, stressing that the Bible remains the most authentic manual for understanding the principles that shape behaviour, leadership, and purpose. He added that even non-religious motivational messages and national constitutions draw heavily from biblical foundations, which makes the Bible a trusted source for guiding positive impact.
He said although the book is written from a Christian foundation, its lessons are applicable to anyone seeking clarity, direction, and personal growth. The man of God emphasised that his goal is not to create a religious barrier but to provide a practical guide for living a purposeful and impactful life.
Moreover, he revealed plans for a nationwide senior high school and university tour to promote the book, explaining that he hopes to distribute it widely through partnerships with sponsors who can purchase copies in bulk for students. He said the objective is to give young people a practical manual for value-driven living at a time when many are heavily influenced by social trends and online personalities.
The launch attracted prominent men of God, including the Special Guest of Honour, H.E. Amb. Prof. Hugh K. Aryee, the Vanuatu Trade Commissioner to Ghana. The event also featured a spirited comedy performance by Parrot Mouth, the popular comedian of Nigerian origin, whose appearance kept guests laughing throughout the programme.

The atmosphere was celebratory, with the first copy of the book selling for GH?6,000. Reverend Azigiza described the event as “super successful”, noting that although not everyone he expected was able to attend, the presence of key supporters, family, and church members made the launch memorable.
He said those present fully embodied the spirit of the book’s message- expressing gratitude to all stakeholders whose participation made the event a success.
