PZ Cussons (Ghana Limited), producers of Camel, a leading antiseptic liquid popular among households and hospitals and health centres, launched its second edition of the Camel Treasure Hunt promotion in Accra last week.
According to Clara Ofori Adu, the Category Manager, owing to the success of the first edition of the Treasure Hunt in 2024 which saw an eventual winner walk away with GH?100,000.00, it gave the Company the impetus to continue with the second edition which runs for thirteen (13) weeks, commencing from November, 15, 2025 until February, 15, 2026.
Among the incentives are weekly airtime rewards, cash prizes, monthly shopping sprees and the ultimate for the consumer who collects all five letters that make up the word Camel from purchases of the liquid antiseptic during the 13 weeks of the promotion.
Madam Ofori Adu said this is more than a promotion but Camel’s unique way of giving back to the consumer for sustained patronage. It follows the success of the first editions where the company couched the promotion to ease the economic burden consumers during a period that was exceptional difficult for most Ghanaians when inflation hovered in the 50s.
She indicated that the second edition will give daily, weekly rewards and monthly rewards until the ultimate of a 100,000. The daily and weekly rewards will give out airtime and the monthly reward will receive a thousand cedis for a shopping spree.
Clara explained the promotion mechanics and stated that any purchase of a Camel Antiseptic bottle, scratch it upon which a unique code of 1393 produce an instant response until the first person to get the set of five letters that spells CAMEL receive the ultimate prize of GH?100,000.00
