In a remarkable demonstration of corporate social responsibility, Regulus Investment and Financial Services Ghana Limited, in partnership with Provident Insurance Ghana Limited, organized a fundraising event to support the establishment of a Cancer Care Unit at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Dzodze.
The initiative underscores Regulus’s unwavering commitment to social impact investments that promote public health and community well-being. The event, held at Nirvana (Play & Party) in Abelenkpe, Accra, brought together distinguished personalities from government, business, civil society, and the media, all united by a shared vision to improve access to cancer care in Dzodze and beyond.
Speaking at the event, Ms Mavis Amegah, Chief Executive Officer of Regulus Ghana, emphasized that the project seeks to bridge the gap in cancer diagnosis and treatment for thousands of residents in Dzodze and surrounding communities. She noted that “true investment extends beyond finance; it is about people and purpose,” reaffirming Regulus’s CSR vision, which is firmly anchored in healthcare, education, and community empowerment.
The Chairman of the event, Eric Edem Agbana, who mentioned he was born at St. Anthony’s Hospital, expressed profound joy at being part of such a transformative initiative and pledged his unwavering support toward the project’s successful completion.
The Majority Whip of Parliament, Rockson Etse Dafeamekpor, also commended Regulus for its foresight and pledged both personal and governmental support toward realizing the project’s objectives.
The Management of St. Anthony’s Hospital expressed deep gratitude and excitement, with the Head of Administration assuring the hospital’s full cooperation and commitment toward the project’s successful execution.
As premium partners, Provident Insurance Ghana Limited reaffirmed its dedication to the project, noting that it aligns perfectly with its corporate social responsibility agenda focused on advancing healthcare and community welfare.
