Escape 3 Points, an eco-hospitality establishment along Ghana’s coastal shores near Cape 3 Points, the closest landmark to the equator, has been deeply impacted by galamsey (illegal mining). Together with some residents in surrounding community, the owner of the lodge, Akwasi McLaren, is taking action.

At the end of this month, as they have for a number of years now, they will host the Eco-Awareness Festival which aims to restore the land, raise awareness and inspire sustainable tourism.
They are calling on the Ghanaian business community and individuals to join in and support the cause. “Even the cost of a coffee or a lunch can make a difference,” says Akwasi.
Support with US$100 or more and have your business become an official festival sponsor as well as receive shout-outs across Escape 3 Points’ socials (before, during & after the festival).
You will also gain recognition as a business that cares about Ghana’s environment and future. Show the world that Ghanaian businesses care and are taking action to protect the land we love.
