The inaugural TrueLife Experience Summit 2025 is set to come off from November 20 to 21 at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, uniting leaders, visionaries and change-makers for two days of transformative conversations and personal development.
Under the theme ‘The Power of the Mind’, the conference will focus on helping people realise their true potential by changing how they think.
Speaking at the launch of the TrueLife Experience Summit 2025, the convener of TrueLife, Dedo Kofi, said many people never fully grow into who they can be; not because they lack ability, but because they lack awareness.
She added that TrueLife exists to help people recognise their potential and believe in their own capabilities, which they may have never seen on their own.
“The vision behind TrueLife is that we want to see people explore their full potential. I think more often than not, people are not able to explore their full potential because they do not get to know that they are capable. And so that’s fundamentally what TrueLife is about – to inspire, to empower and to transform,” she stated.
Ms. Kofi shared that TrueLife is about more than motivation. According to her, it’s about revealing the real stories behind success. People often admire the outcome without knowing the journey. Hearing these personal stories helps others see that growth is possible for them too, regardless of their background or starting point.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the theme, she explained that the mind is like an engine. It performs based on how it’s trained. She used the image of someone holding a diamond, mistaking it for a worthless stone, to show how many people underestimate their own potential.
She added that many people stay in the same place for years simply because they’ve never been exposed to the idea that they can be more.
The TrueLife Experience 2025 will feature keynote speakers who will share real-life stories drawn from their personal journeys. These experiences are meant to show attendees that transformation is possible no matter where they begin. By hearing how others have overcome challenges, participants will be encouraged to believe in their own ability to grow and succeed.
The conference will also host panel discussions centred on key themes such as power, pain and possibility. These conversations are designed to dig deeper into how individuals can turn adversity into strength.
In addition, practical sessions will focus on building leadership from the ground, helping people understand that it’s okay to start small and that consistent growth can lead to big impact. Without this awareness, many risk staying stagnant simply because they never knew there was more available for them.
Beyond conversations, individuals who are making an impact in various ways will be awarded. TrueLife will honour those who are working to change their communities, often without recognition, in ways that align with the core values of the organization – inspiring, empowering and transforming.
Importantly, TrueLife 2025 is also focused on inclusivity. The event will intentionally include people with special needs and others from less-advantaged backgrounds. By creating a space where everyone feels seen and supported, TrueLife aims to provide the kind of environment where all people can be inspired to realise their full potential.
