As I walk the streets of life
You see me
You see me in your eyes
You see me as you see what I do
You see me as I walk the streets of life
And you see me in your own eyes
What you do not see…
Is what you cannot see through your eyes
As I rave on the streets of life
You hear me
You hear me in my own voice
You hear me in your own ears
You hear from what you hear me say
You hear me from the way I rant on the streets of life
And you hear me in your own ears
What you do not hear…
Is what you cannot hear with your ears
As I snooze through the streets of life
You dream me
You dream me in your own sleep
You dream me from what you see me do in your dreams
You dream me from what you dream of me
You dream me from the way I slumber through the streets of life
And you dream me in your own sleep
What you do not dream about…
Is what you cannot dream of in your sleep
As I tread the streets of life
You judge me
You judge me in your own court
You judge me from what you think of me
You judge me from what you think I do
You judge me from how I trudge to…and from
From how I trudge up… and down
You judge me from when I began to trudge the streets of life
And you judge me in your own court
What you do not judge…
Is what you cannot judge on your own verdict
As I take pleasure in the leisures on the streets of life
You measure me
You measure me on your own scale
You measure me to your own degree
You measure me from what you reason me to be
You measure me from my pleasures
And my leisures, on the streets of life
And you measure me according your own standards
What you do not measure…
Is what you cannot measure with your own criterion

It takes only a day’s deep peer into the unspoken
The unscripted routines of life
To unscramble
To appreciate the daily hustles on the streets of life
To appreciate…
That it takes the tough to get through the rough stuff on the streets of life
