RAM Media Concepts, organisers of the upcoming GhanaFest Europe Trade and Cultural Fair being organised to promote culture, tourism, among others, has officially launched the event on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Amsterdam-Arena Towers.
GhanaFest Europe is a three-day trade and cultural extravaganza being organised to promote Ghanaian and European businesses, culture, music, arts, and Ghanaian cuisine amongst others.
The launch ceremony was performed by the Ghana Ambassador to the Netherlands, Francis D. Kotia, and was attended by a number of personalities which include the Chief Executive of Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Akwasi Agyeman, Apagyahene of Asebu State, Nana Obokese Amoah as well as stakeholders in the culture, tourism, entertainment and other sectors.
The event also attracted some members of the European business community, traditional leaders from the Ghanaian, African and the Suriname communities in the Netherlands among others.
At the launch, a detailed programme line up for the main fair/exhibition scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 1, 2024 was unveiled. The main event, according to the organisers, is expected to attract over 100 exhibitors, and 7,000 attendees from both Ghanaian and European businesses.
Cutting the cake to symbolise the official launch of GhanaFest Europe, Ghana’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, Francis D. Kotia, urged businesses in the agro-processing industries, real estate developers, food packaging and industrial stakeholders to take advantage of the platform offered by GhanaFest Europe 2024. He also used the opportunity to advise Ghanaians back home to propagate peace during this year’s general election.
Speaking at the launch, the CEO of RAM Media Concepts, Augustine Mark said GhanaFest Europe Trade and Cultural Fair will promote the best of Ghanaian music, dance, fashion, culture, food bazaar, among others. According to him, the event will serve as a platform to promote Ghana as a preferable destination for business as well as attract international business investment and entrepreneurs.
