Jobberman Ghana has embarked on a mission to create 8,000 decent jobs for youth ages 15 and 35, women, and persons with disabilities. Out of the 8,000 jobs, about 70 percent will be reserved for women.
The initiative is being carried out through the ‘Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) programme, which is a collaborative project managed by a consortium of partners in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and Agri-Impact Limited.
‘The HAPPY Programme’ seeks to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in agriculture while empowering young people to pursue rewarding careers in this vital industry.
Through training and job placement services, we aim to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in various roles within the agricultural value chain.
This initiative comes at a crucial time when there is a pressing need to harness the potential of youth in agriculture to drive innovation, sustainability, and economic growth. Investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders can create a more resilient and prosperous future for Ghana’s agricultural sector.
This programme includes all aspects of the agriculture value chain, including production and marketing. The opportunity is open to all in the agriculture sector, and this is an excellent avenue for input suppliers, distributors, producers, retailers, processors, service providers, consumers, government agencies, and research institutions.
