Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL), has rewarded 720 loyal customers who accrued the highest points in the first month of its ongoing "Efie Ne Fie" promotion.
More than 20 customers who accumulated the highest points for the month received GH?1,000 worth of fuel on the Go Card, while 100 customers got GH?500, worth of fuel on the GO Card.
Another set of lucky winners, made up of 300 customers, benefitted from GH?300 worth of fuel. Additionally, 300 more customers benefitted from free servicing of their vehicles.
George Korang from Ofankor in Accra who accumulated the highest monthly points of over 97,000 was rewarded with a weekend stay for two at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Accra in addition to GH?1,000 worth of fuel on the GO Card.
Speaking at a short ceremony to present the ultimate winners in November with their awards, the Chief Operating Officer of GOIL, Alex Josiah Adzew said the promotion was to recognise customers who had helped to put the company in an enviable position by purchasing its fuel.
He restated the company's determination to place the customer at the centre of every activity, adding that GOIL would continue to deliver quality service to consumers.
"The national character of the promotion is exemplified in the diverse backgrounds and locations of the beneficiary customers, some of whom were from Asante Mampong, Hohoe, Tamale, Bonwire, Ofankor, Ashaiman to Sapeiman and Abuakwa," Mr Adzew said.
About 1,700 more customers will receive rewards in their next two rounds of ultimate reward giveaways next month and January, 2019. In addition, 918,420 items will be given out as instant rewards throughout the period of the promotion which ends in January 2019.
In attendance was GOIL's Brand Ambassador, Barimah Azumah Nelson and some management staff of GOIL who served and interacted with customers as part of the customer's day.
Padmond Bakah, one of the lucky customers in an interview with the Ghanaian Times commended GOIL for the promotion, saying it was real and urged motorists to patronise GOIL products to enable them to win rewards.
