Stephen Appiah, Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, has arrived in London to support the team ahead of their Unity Cup semi-final match against bitter rivals Nigeria.
The game is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the G-tech stadium, London.
Appiah, who was appointed to the revamped management committee earlier this year, brings valuable experience to the team.
He previously worked with the team during the World Cup qualifiers where Ghana secured consecutive wins over Madagascar and Chad and is expected to provide guidance and support to the players.
Joining other technical team members, Appiah’s presence aims to boost the team’s morale and strategy as they face a tough opponent in Nigeria.
With his expertise, the Black Stars hope to overcome the challenge and progress to the final of the Unity Cup.
The team’s preparation is crucial as they seek to make a strong impression in the competition and prepare them for the September internationals where Ghana will play Chad and Mali in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
