
Ghana Football Association (GFA) Vice President Mark Addo has revealed that the new Nissan Navara pickups will greatly support grassroots football by providing regional associations with the necessary resources to enhance their operations and development initiatives.
On April 16, eight Regional Football Associations in Ghana received Nissan Navara pickups courtesy of the FIFA Forward program, which aims to boost football development nationwide.
Brand new Nissan Navara pickup trucks have been presented to the various Regional Football Associations (RFAs) to support football development across the country.

The beneficiary regions included: Brong Ahafo Regional FA, Upper West Regional FA, Central Regional FA, Western Regional FA, Eastern Regional FA, Upper East Regional FA, Volta Regional FA, Ashanti Regional FA.
Speaking to the media after the ceremony, Mark Addo praised GFA President Kurt Okraku for his efforts in securing these acquisitions.
“What we have witnessed today will go a long way to support Grass-root football. It will help our regional chairmen in terms of logistics, planning and all the little works that a lot of people do not know about and I am happy that our president had the vision and the courage to fight for this. We want to thank FIFA for coming though and helping us achieve the agenda of the GFA President”he said.
The Greater Accra Regional FA and Northern Regional FA are set to receive their vehicles under a subsequent phase of the FIFA Forward program.
