Rising tensions in Ashanti: MMDCE supporters demand preferred candidates or else

Tensions are rising in the Ashanti region as supporters of some aspiring Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives threaten violence if their preferred candidates are not selected.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has issued a stern warning against anyone hiding behind party affiliations to disrupt peace and destroy public property.
