
The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor has expressed serious concerns over the increasing rate of power theft in the northern region especially the greater tamale metropolis
According to him, over 50 percent of power theft across the country is recorded in the northern region with over 70 percent of residents in the greater tamale metropolis engaged in illegal connections leading to millions of cedis in revenue losses to the Northern Electricity Distribution Company.
