Ghana’s U20 side, the Black Satellites, have been drawn in Group C of the upcoming Total Energies Africa U20 Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The draw, which took place in Egypt on Sunday, will see the Black Satellites take on Senegal, Dr Congo and Central African Republic.
Ghana secured qualification to the continental showpiece after finishing as runners up in the WAFU B competition against Nigeria.
The tournament, which will take place in Egypt, will begin on April 27.
The Black Satellites will begin their campaign on May 2 against Dr. Congo before facing Senegal three days later.
Ghana will conclude the tournament on May 8 with a clash against Central African Republic.
The U20 AFCON doubles as the qualifiers to the U20 World Cup, which is expected to take place in Chile in September.
Ghana, the only African Nation to win the U20 World Cup, in 2009, have not been at the tournament since a Round of 16 exit in 2015.
The Black Satellites will fancy their chances of going deep in the tournament and potentially winning the AFCON after their heroics in the 2023 African Games, where the team annexed gold.
Elsewhere, Group A will see Egypt, Zambia, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Tanzania slug it out while Nigeria, Tunisia, Kenya and Morocco battle in Group B.
The tournament will take place in Egypt after initial hosts Ivory Coast pulled out.
