The Staff Union of the National Service Authority (NSA) has strongly denounced attempts by political party foot soldiers to infiltrate and influence the operations of the Authority.
In a press release dated April 11, 2025, signed by Chairman Ayirebi Adubofour, the union emphasized that such actions threaten democratic principles, erode public trust, and compromise institutional integrity.
The union reaffirmed that recruitment and transfer processes within the Authority strictly follow the guidelines set out in the Public Services Commission Act, the National Service Authority Act 2024 (Act 1119), and Article 195 of the Ghanaian Constitution.
According to the statement, the NSA operates as a public institution under the supervision of the Public Services Commission, and is not subject to the influence of any political group.

The union appealed to the government to protect state institutions from political manipulation and called on political parties to respect the independence of the NSA.
