CJ Torkornoo responds to petitions for her removal

hief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has submitted her official response to the petitions seeking her removal from office, meeting the deadline set by President John Dramani Mahama.

Sources close to the matter confirmed to 3news.com that the Chief Justice submitted her written response to both the President and the Council of State before the deadline expired on Monday, April 7, 2025. This follows a 10-working-day ultimatum given to her by the President after the petition was filed.
