Energy Minister requests NIB probe into ECG’s 1,357 missing containers at Tema Port

The Energy Minister, John Abdulai Jinapor, has formally requested the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) to launch an investigation into the disappearance of over 1,357 Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) containers at the Tema Port.

This request follows the findings of a Technical Committee set up by the Minister to investigate the status of an estimated 2,500 ECG containers at the port.
