Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon (AWW) John Dumelo joined forces with Wode Maya and the BuzStop Boys to tackle sanitation issues in Accra.
The cleanup exercise, held on Monday, March 31, 2025, focused on clearing blocked gutters at Okponglo as part of an environmental campaign.
A video shared on X by blogger Sika Official captured Dumelo, who is also the Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, actively participating in the cleanup.
He was seen using a shovel to remove sand and debris from the gutters, ensuring better water flow in the area.

The cleanup initiative was a collaboration between the BuzStop Boys and Wode Maya, aligning with Eid al-Fitr celebrations in Ghana.
Since their emergence over a year ago, the BuzStop Boys have carried out numerous sanitation projects across the country.
They have previously worked with other notable figures, including actress Nana Ama McBrown, to promote environmental cleanliness.
