The Black Stars have arrived in Morocco ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar on Monday, March 24.
All 23 players and officials landed at Acharif Al Idriss Airport in Al Hoceima on Saturday afternoon, ready for their crucial Group I clash.
The Black Stars, who currently top Group I with 12 points, will face Madagascar, who trail just two points behind the 2010 FIFA World Cup quarter-finalists.
The match at Stade Mimoun Al Arsi will serve as the second leg of their qualifier, following Ghana’s narrow 1-0 victory over Madagascar in Kumasi during the first leg.
Both teams head into the match with impressive performances on Matchday 5:
- Madagascar secured a 4-1 away victory over Central African Republic.
- Ghana dominated Chad with a 5-0 win at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With the race for World Cup qualification intensifying, the Black Stars will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the group and edge closer to securing a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
