Keep pushing boundaries to become role models in society – Media General Group CEO celebrates women on IWD

The Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Media General, Beatrice Agyemang has urged all women to continue breaking boundaries to become role models in society.

She shared the encouragement in an inspiring message to celebrate women on the International Women’s Day, March 8, 2025.

“Happy International Women’s Day! Today, I celebrate the unique talents, strengths, and impact of women at Media General and beyond. To our incredible females across all departments and Board Members, your contributions are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated,” the Group CEO noted.

To all female clients and audience of Media General, the Group CEO expressed gratitude for the partnership and trust throughout these years.

“We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our female clients, vendors, and audience. Your trust and partnership mean the world to us, and we remain committed to delivering the best experience for you. Keep pushing boundaries, seizing opportunities, and becoming the role models you once aspired to be,” she added.

Madam Beatrice Agyemang emphasised the need for women to rise with unity and purpose to impact future generations.

“When women rise with purpose, they don’t just change their own stories, they rewrite the future for generations to come. Ayekoo to all Ghanaian women and women worldwide! Let’s keep inspiring,” she stressed.

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

International Women’s Day has occurred for well over a century. In 2025, the theme is “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment,” emphasising the urgency to expedite progress toward gender parity. This theme calls for swift, decisive measures to address systemic barriers and biases affecting women in various spheres.
