Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has addressed claims that he failed to show up for the video shoot of Kofi Mole’s song Makoma, which features himself and Bosom PYung. According to Sarkodie, he had no knowledge of the scheduled shoot.
Responding to a post by Hitz FM’s X account, Sarkodie took to X (formerly Twitter) to set the record straight.
“Yaa monma me din nda kakra me sr3 mo … have no idea about this and if it actually happened, there was miscommunication somewhere. Only responding to this cos I got love for my superstar @kofi_mole. I don’t play games … I’m in or not,” he wrote.
Speaking on Hitz FM on Tuesday, January 28, 2024, video director Yaw Skyface explained that Kofi Mole had scheduled two dates for the shoot, but Sarkodie did not attend either.
This is not the first time Sarkodie has faced similar accusations. Over the years, artists like Freddy Meiway, Yemi Alade, Samini, and Edem have also claimed that he was unresponsive to scheduled video shoots.
The post Sarkodie denies snubbing Kofi Mole’s “Makoma” video shoot first appeared on 3News.
